Vincom Center is the newest Saigon shopping center and is conveniently located in between the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Opera House. It has 3 basements and 5 levels to make for more than 250 shops altogether.

The game center at the basement will make both the parents and kids happy.

During my Navy days, I was taught that the toilet is a reflection of an organization

Bro, it looks like a nice place to shop… Just like in Singapore. hahaha
ya… like shopping in singapore. well done ben!
Thank you Elaine
finally!;) been waiting for this kind of mall in vietnam for the longest time..:)
Alo K, thank you. But there are already a few of such malls in Vietnam although Vincom Center is the largest so far here in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon.
yes, but the clothing/shoes brands are very limited so i always end up in nguyen trai & dong khoi, no pun intended, but somehow, diamond plaza bores me.
thank you for sharing this, nice photos.
will visit this mall tomorrow!YEY!YEY!
Thank you K too for dropping by here at Vietnam720
Will certainly follow up on this new mall when I’m coming over in October 2010. Thanks for the details!
Roy
Not all the shops are open yet but certainly by the time u are here
Are the shops there more expensive or relatively the same price as singapore’s?
Bread Talk is a little cheaper.
A low-cut all white Converse shoe cost around S$30+ while my friend told me it’s about S$60+ in S’pore.
Levis n Charles n Keith will cost more.
Could you let me know the $ of rent / per sqft or m2 for 1 rst, 2 nd and 3 rd location
Dear Trang, this is not a real estate website
hi again..
saw you taking picture inside the toilet…you must be carrying camera everywhere ait!..where to find a good bargain camera shop,..? body, lenses, bag, accessories…and so?
thanks
Hi Dude,
There are a few camera shop in Tax Center. The one facing the road is where I go get my stuffs (when i need to). No idea where u come from but comparing Singapore and Vietnam, things in Vietnam (camera in this case) are more expensive.
Ben, where on earth do you find time to take all these photos? You should be given an award for promoting Vietnam tourism – or maybe you already have one? Cheers and keep up the great work. BTW, don’t you think the floss bun at BreadTalk doesn’t really taste like those back home?
Hey Ben, thanks for dropping by Vietnam720. What’s up over there? How’s your school?
I’m working full time on this site hence it’s my job to take pictures. Visited Mui Ne sometime back and through your recommendation, checked out a few place. One of them is Kim Loan which I blogged about here, with a credit to you: http://vietnam720.com/travel-tips/kim-loan-restaurant-mui-ne/
Yet to do anything with BreadTalk but the floss bun don’t look as good as S’pore’s to start with.
School’s ok – little kids are nice to play with. Glad you like Kim Loan. My son went up to Mui Ne with his friend. They were fully booked – so they put him up at their uncle’s place next door. So kind of them.
I visited Bagvina in Q4 today after seeing your write-up. Nice place. Met Huong (did I get his name right?). They’ve nice Coach and Lacoste bags – think my wife will like them. I’ll bring her over – maybe over the weekend.
Thanks for the wonderful tips!
Kim Loan was fully booked when i was there and the man also helped me get a room diagonally across (did a virtual tour of the place, can be found on this site).
Glad i can return a favor with the Crumpler bag shop
Hong is the name for the lady (big eyes girl) and Phi my friend (male).
Take care Ben. Keep in touch
Wow, can I post the pictures in my Blog to show all my Vietnamese and Chinese friends around the world to see? We are planning to go to Vietnam either Christmas 2011 or Summer 2012 as a Reunion Trip.
Dear Frankie, feel free to link them to Vietnam720 to see how a high end shopping centre in HCMC Saigon is like
I was searching on google and came about your site. Thanks Vetnam720 for the info! Was in Saigon once last year but only shop in in Ben Thanh area due to the very short stay. I’m going again next month for 5 nights so info on your website really helps!
Thank u Pauline! Glad Vietnam720 had helped. Do share this site with all your friends, ok?
Sure! I am still navigating around the site. Is there address stated for the respective location? Like Vicom Center. It facilitates people to tell the taxi driver the place. Through your site, I was liked to Mui Ne and it looks like a beautiful place to visit. I’m now trying to get more info so I could travel from HCMC to that place for a night stay.
Hi Pauline, I usually try to write the address down in the blog post as far as possible. In case where I don’t have 1, I’ll try to describe the place like this Vincom Centre which is in between the Post Office and Opera House.
Mui Ne is very pretty. Use the ‘Mui Ne’ tab to find out more http://vietnam720.com/travel-tips/category/mui-ne/
no lotteria at vincom?
Nope Andy
Thanks for the prompt reply. May I know where I can find Lotteria then? Just want to give it a try =)
U are welcome Andy.
Lotteria can be easily found all over Ho Chi Minh City. Try the one in Parkson, just next to Vincom Center (note, it was there 1 year ago when I last visited).
Another location is the Diamond Shopping Center.
whats the address of this place?
Vincom Center address: 70-72 Le Thanh Ton Street, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Hi, would like to know whether the shops, shopping centres or places of interest will be open during Chinese New Year, planning to visit HCM city during CNY period. Is it recommended to visit during these period? Thks!
Hi Momo,
CNY is a great time to be in Vietnam although I must add that the atmosphere in S’pore and Hong Kong is stronger.
The shops and places of interest will be opened although not all.
Hi I will be going to V.N next year. And so do you know if the brands are more expensive then U.S prices? Like from FCUK and Versace?
Sorry Diana, no idea about the price from these brands.
