When a restaurant that sells only 2 dishes has constant flow of customers, you know they must be good. And Quan Nem is very good.
Quan Nem only serves Vietnamese spring rolls (with crab in it) and Bun Cha which is grilled pork with vermicelli noodles. Bun Cha here is nice but the star is the Vietnamese spring roll. It’s actually not correct to call it a ‘roll’ as all the fantastic ingredients are wrapped together giving it a bun shape. But whatever way you name it, the Vietanmese spring rolls here are very good.

Bun Cha and all the supporting casts.
Only 6 pages on the menu- 1 for introduction, 2 for the 2 dishes and the other 3 being drink list. Those awesome Vietnamese spring rolls cost only US$1.50/each and Bun Cha at about US$2.50/set.

“(with crap in it)”…I assume you mean crab?
Very nice place. What’s their address? I’ll add it to my list for when I visit VN later this year. Thanks for the post.
Oh I hope you mean they are filled with “Crab” not “Crap”
Haha! Thank u Dani, it’s been corrected! Thanks for pointing out
Thanks Steve, address added.
Thanks too for correcting that ‘crap’
I;m gonna give this place a try, always looking for good spots and you were right on with the Ko Bo at Pho Nguyen
Thanks the the info. I’ll give it a try next time I’m in VN.
@Sam – And I thank you for reading!
@Drifter – Thank you Sir. I’m not again to disappoint. U will love the crab spring roll. I can easily do 3 by myself. Tip: order more at 1 go as it takes some time for them to prepare
Hi Ben, after finding out about your blog yesterday and read about your review about this amazing spring rolls I had to try it out myself today.
What I can say is that your review didn’t let me down and I’ll definitely will be coming back there another time.
Thanks for this tip!
For another amazing spring rolls I can recommend trying Café de la May at 285 Nguyen Van Troi Street, Phu Nhuan District. Try the spring rolls with bun nem thit nuong (I think is no.25 or 35 in the menu). Those a 2 different dishes, but together they make a great combination!
If you love eating rice vermicelli with spring rolls, that’s a place to go.
PS. The address for the Bun Nem is 30 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan Street. You forgot the last word in the street name.
Really like your blog!
Keep it up, you’re doing a great job!
Hey DP, appreciate your compliments!!
