The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology has wide open space and beautiful scenery. There are altogether about 15,000 artifacts, 42,000 movies and photos and many souvenirs reflecting all aspects of activities and habits of the 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups.

Artifacts on display in the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is very rich; from clothes to jewelry to supplies used in the daily activities of the peoples of the papoose … Every display in the museum has labels specifying the names, origin and materials for reference purposes. The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology can be a fun outing for the whole family, especially with children in the weekend. The outdoor displays can be both an enjoyable and learning experiences on the history of Vietnam for all.
Currently, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is building nine new architecture with the exhibits being the communal house of the Ba Na people, the length house on stilts of Ede ethnic group, the walls of the Ha Nhi, sepulcher of Gia Rai, house of the Cham ethic group, tile roofed house of Vietnam, house on stiles of Tay… Between the houses are small paths with winding streams, small bridges and landscape very close to the life of each ethnic group in Vietnam.

Special performances of the North region regularly occur here. Guests not only get to watch the performance but have a chance to communicate with the artist. At the same time, special classes like embroidery are also regularly held in the summer.
