The Phu Quoc Night Market opens daily from 6pm till about midnight. This is where you can get inexpensive Phu Quoc souvenirs, ‘I love Phu Quoc’ t-shirts, sandals and accessories, especially Phu Quoc Pearls. Of course, seafood is the main reason one goes to the Phu Quoc Night Market. I didn’t dine there but a search on the internet consistently says the seafood there are ‘cheap and good’. Vincom Center is the newest Saigon shopping center and is conveniently located in between the Notre Dame Cathedral and Saigon Opera House. It has 3 basements and 5 levels to make for more than 250 shops altogether….
If you do ever get sick of the Ben Thanh Market, Saigon Square and have also done the Binh Tay Market in Cholon, try An Dong Plaza. An Dong Plaza is a big and modern multi-storey shopping mall that sells clothes, jewellery, footwear, accessories, souvenirs and even furniture’s. With its large floor areas, you’ll find a wide variety of things to buy. It is also fair to say that the vendors in An Dong Plaza are friendlier and less aggressive than those of Ben Thanh Market…
