Saigon Square 2

Checked out the NEW Saigon Square and these are my feedback:
1) The new Saigon Square, or Saigon Square 2 as I like to call it, is by the same boss who gives us the old Saigon Square. I like Saigon Square 2 too but what I don’t appreciate is why are they both of the same name? Won’t Saigon Square 2 make a good title for the new shopping mall?
2) Saigon Square 2 is a lot bigger and cooler than Saigon Square (old).
3) The merchandise there as similar to the old Saigon Square. You’ll find the usual fair of contemporary stuffs like Clumpler bag made in Vietnam, Gucci and Ray Ban sunglasses, iPhone cover, Nike shoes, DVD, Columbia jacket, Abercrombie polo and more. I went armed with 2 cameras but when I saw the similarities, I thought I should just share the post on the old Saigon Square here. Check out the link and you’ll get a good idea of what Saigon Square 2 has to offer.
4) I’ll do a ‘how to get to’ later on but for now, it’s just a few blocks from the 33-storey Prudential building. If you are staying in the Legend Hotel, turn left at the entrance. The road will naturally lead you to a left turn and Saigon Square 2 is just round the corner after that. Saigon Square 2 address is 7 – 9 Ton Duc Thang, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

By the way, from where I’m from flights to Vietnam usually arrive around early morning. Do you have any recommendations on what can we do around this time? It would be interesting to see the culture of Vietnam around this time, if just for a different perspective. Thanks!

Alo Jane, if u are referring to a bus from Ben Thanh to Saigon Sqaure 2, then I have no idea
Taxi and motorbike are cheap and faster- go for them instead.

I saw your photo of two ladies in a motorbike, I am wondering do you have any friends/relatives, a lady with a motorbike who can take me around when I am in HCM?
