Saigon shopping, or shopping in Saigon, is the best and easiest compare to other parts of Vietnam. Best place to shop in Vietnam because the choices are more varied given Ho Cho Minh City’s cosmopolitan background. And easiest place to shop in Vietnam because the shops are a lot more congregated compare to the other major cities.
This is an on-going series where I’m trying to give you as much as I can on shopping in Saigon. So do remember to check back every once in a while. I’ve already started 1 on Saigon Shopping Eden Mall which cover the immediate perimeter of Eden Mall. For this article on Saigon Shopping Opera View, it will be on the immediate perimeter on (of course) Opera View. Opera View is just diagonally across the Saigon Opera House.
Some pictures on the type of high end brands one can find in and around the Opera View.

A few of the painting shops you can find around the Opera View. The paintings typically start at around US$30 for the smallest one and up to more than US$4000 for an original established Vietnamese artist. I recommend that you check out Kim Do which is an established painting shop in Saigon.

More pictures are on what’s outside the immediate perimeter of Opera View for your Saigon shopping.

Restaurants around the Opera View.

This part of the Saigon city is also where you can get your photos printed.

Parting note: If you, like me, can’t afford a LV bag, try getting a ‘333‘ bag from one of the street vendors around the Opera View for your Saigon shopping

As usual, if you had enjoyed this post, I’ll appreciate very much if you can Twit, Facebook or email about this article.

How can I locate Augustin (the French restaurant)? Is it housed in the same building as the LV boutique?
It’s on 10 D Nguyen Thiep
