Remix Deco

Got engaged by Remix Deco recently to do virtual tours for them. Fell in love instantly with this Saigon boutique furniture shop that I decide I’m gonna blog about it as well.

I’ve always been on the cheap- unfortunately by circumstances and not choice. But if I can afford it, I’ll want to buy everything (ok, not everything- some are way too funky for my liking) in this shop. The thing about paying US$180 for a ‘bulb’ (pictured below) or US$75 for a small and flimsy looking clock (2nd picture below) is that they immediately make you feel classier. Or at least to me. More importantly, they are indeed very beautiful things.

Remix Deco is the first boutique furniture shop in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, to sell designer furniture. The pieces found at Remix Deco are replicas of European design classics. This means you are playing only a fraction of the original price for items like the iconic Barcelona chair, Tizio lamp and Andy Warhol Prints. Good deal :-)

This is the very cool and friendly chap behind Remix Deco. Sean is well traveled, having spent a long time in Europe, particularly Belgium. His aim for Remix Deco is to bring ‘modern classics’ interior deco to the Saigonese culture and to give Saigon expats choices in their search for interior furniture with things they are already familiar in their hometown.

The next point is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT but because I own this blog, I think I can get away with it: Sean has a VERY HOT wife :-)
