Recommending 2 photography services in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon.
Recommendation #1: VietnamWeddingPhotographer.com
This is run by a pair of Singaporean with a studio based in Ho Chi Minh City. One is a 4 years Saigon expat veteran and the other a seasoned photographer. Hilarion, the lead photographer, has worked on many celebrity weddings and completed wedding assignments in locations like London, Paris, Milan, Hong Kong, Macau, Bali, Cambodia and Vietnam, just to name a few. He has also judged many photography competitions and taught professional wedding photography courses. His photos have appeared in numerous international magazines.
Please allow me to side track a little here. I’m going to address directly to my fellow Singaporeans because I think there are a few good reasons that they can benefit doing their wedding shoot in Vietnam:
- Saigon is only 1.5hrs away from Singapore by flight.
- With things relatively cheaper in Vietnam, you are getting more value out of your wedding shoot package when you compare it places like Australia or New Zealand.
- Makes your wedding photos different from your peers. How many of your friends have theirs taken in sand dunes, a village or a post office that’s more than 100 years old?

Mads, or Mr 191 as I like to call him (he is 191cm tall), is a very established photographer in Ho Chi Minh City. Studio Mads Monsen provides both commercial (advertising) and editorial photography services. Mads’ clients include companies like Ogilvy, Saatchi, Lowe, Techcom Bank, Prudential and the InterContinental Hotel. I’ve a photo slideshow of his works below. There are more than 400+ images there. So take your time to enjoy many of his BEAUTIFUL works.
