If you miss the Saigon Ben Thanh Market when in Nha Trang, go to Dam Market, or Cho Dam in Vietnamese. It is smaller and has lesser variety than the former but still makes for a good place to buy Vietnam gifts to bring home. The surrounding open air wet market and food stalls will add more reasons to check out the Dam Market. And because it’s used mainly by the locals, this is 1 spot in Nha Trang to catch the daily lives of the Vietnamese people.
I didn’t take too many pictures here as I ran out of juice for my pocket camera. To get an idea of what’s on offer in Dam Market, check out my post on the Ben Thanh Market. They both sell similar stuffs.
I’m sorry I don’t have an address of Cho Dam for you. Can’t seem to Google for an answer too. If you know, drop a comment below so I can place it here. I can only say that if you are walking back to the main tourist area from the Po Nagar Cham Tower, it’s not far from the main road.
