These pictures of Mui Ne fishing harbor were taken at the same time when I covered the Phan Thiet fishing harbor. But unlike Phan Thiet, Mui Ne fishing harbor had a few fisherman working even in the Vietnamese New Year holidays. This adds life to the pictures. And it helps that the people in there were all very friendly.

When you tour Mui Ne, DO NOT miss the chance to visit this overlook with its splendid view of hundreds of colorful fishing boats moored in the bay. I have a tip for you: it can be very therapeutic just sitting around enjoying this view. Try it. I’m sure you will agree with me. But go early or late in the day as there is no shelter around.
