While I’ve titled this post as ‘How to get to Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon’, it should really be ‘How to get to Notre Dame Cathedral AND Saigon Post Office’. This is because the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Saigon Post Office is right next to each other. And if you are thinking this makes ‘killing 2 birds with 1 stone’, it gets even better since the Reunification Palace is also a stone throw away. I’ll do a ‘How to get to Reunification Palace’ later on.
For now, let’s focus on getting to the Notre Dame Cathedral (and the Saigon Post Office).
It’s actually very simple. In this picture below, the Saigon Opera House is to your right (blue arrow). From here, just head down straight in the direction of the yellow arrow and the Notre Dame Cathedral (and Saigon Post Office) is only about 600 meters away.
How to get to Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon
As you start walking down from the Saigon Opera House, just look out for the HSBC Bank. By the time you see it, the Notre Dame Cathedral will be right in front already.

Thanks you for promoting ho chi minh. It is really very interesting and I like the “how to get to” section. it very useful to those who are free and easy to Vietnam. Last time I went to Vietnam before with my Vietnam friend but he does not really familiar with ho chi minh city (he from long xuyen city) and I found it very boring in Vietnam. On the other hand, language also a barrier for me in asking direction. I hope from this “how to get to section” I can be more independent searching place to travel in this coming May
