This is the Cao Dai Temple in My Tho. It is not as big as the headquarter in Tay Ninh but still just as colorful and certainly worth a visit. The quick summary is that Cao Dai is a Vietnamese sect that seeks to create the ideal religion by fusing the secular and religious philosophies of both East and West.

One common feature you’ll find in all the Cao Dai temples is that they’ll always have a medical section that gives out treatments using traditional Vietnamese herbal medicine.


You should walk all around the Cao Dai temple compound to appreciate its color and wonderful architecture.
