The Vietnam History Museum in Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, is celebrating its 30 years of showcasing Vietnam history. It now have many new exhibits and hence I returned to bring you more virtual tours of the Vietnam History Museum.

This hall collects all the different Buddha statues dating back to the 12th century.

The Vietnam History Museum is a stunning Sino-French-style building that was built in 1929. It's worth a visit just to view the architecture. The museum has an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the evolution of the cultures of Vietnam, from the Bronze Age Dong Son civilization and the Oc-Eo (Funan) civilization, to the Cham, Khmer and Vietnamese. The Vietnam History Museum is just inside the main gate to the Saigon Zoo. See also virtual tour of the same History Museum taken about 1 year ago.
