The Saigon Opera House, or the Municipal Theatre, a grand colonial building with a sweeping staircase, is hard to miss at the city intersection of Dong Khoi Street and Le Loi Street.
Built by the French at the end of the nineteenth century and renovated in the 1940s, this fine example of colonial architecture is a landmark in the centre of Saigon.
