This is Phu My Hung of district 7 in Ho Chi Minh City, repute to be the most desirable place to live in for those who can afford the luxury apartments and villas. Just 10 years ago, this place was all but swamps. When the developers started their project, the motto was 'Singapore's lifestyle in Vietnam'. And as a Singaporean, I must admit that they've achieved that. Wide (and I mean very wide), clean and properly marked roads, working traffic lights and beautiful villas are what comes to mind whenever you talk about Phu My Hung. Hell, they even throw in 24 hours security guards patrolling the whole district. Besides houses, they also have a convention centre, a French hospital, a few International Schools, 2 supermarkets less than 1km apart, high-end restaurants, cafes, golf course, shopping centres... Oh the good life...
