| The Notre Dame Cathedral, one of Saigon tourist attraction, is set in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City government quarter. It is neo-Romanesque with two 40m-high square towers tipped with iron spires which dominate the city's skyline. In front of the cathedral is a statue of the Virgin Mary. Unusually, this cathedral has no stained glass windows: the glass was a casualty of fighting during WWII. |
